THE ARTIST
AASGAARD
Above all passionate about digital, comics, and pop art, Aasgaard first tried the Street Art spirit in a stencil style.
It was subsequently (already many years ago) that he became interested in blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies and NFTs, until immersing himself full time in one of them (SHIB) as an official translator (Woofpaper, official site, Shibaswap platform), then as moderator of the official Discord channel.
It was then that he launched his first collection of NFTs (unfinished but still being created) in a Pixel Arts spirit, taking up the world of Shiba and Comics: The SHIBAPIXARTS.
Self-taught, he then tried 3D modeling in order to give another dimension to his creativity, ultimately leading to the collection DARK'N POP

MAKING OF
HOW IS MADE THE COLLECTION MADE DARK'N POP ?
BLANK (or gray) PAGE: Start-up. Everything starts from a void filled with grids.
GEOMETRY: The body is built in its most basic version. This is also what will serve as a matrix for each work.
MODELING: Where it really begins. The body, then the facial features, the position and the angle of view. The lines are modeled and refined. The creature or character takes shape as we do/undo/remake it.
TEXTURATION: The definition of textures and colors. Here again it is a matter of doing and undoing to achieve the desired result.
THE BACKGROUND: these are generated by artificial intelligence using numerous personal prompts.
RETOUCHES: Everything is mixed to finally be retouched and obtain a homogeneous result across the entire collection.
PRINTING: Each version is printed in 10 copies (not one more) on hand-stretched canvas, with high-quality UV ink allowing optimal color rendering, and ensuring quality maintenance over time. Everything is fixed on a wooden support (with integrated hooks so they are ready to find their place on your walls!). All these steps are carried out by a service provider Made InFrance.
DIMENSIONS: The canvases are in a single format of 30x30cm. This size is ideal for a collection!
